Discrimination Law

Discrimination Attorney in Oahu, HI

A variety of state and federal laws prohibit discrimination on various grounds, including age, sex, race, religion, disability and national origin. These laws prohibit employment discrimination, housing discrimination, discrimination by educational institutions and discrimination in the provision of public accommodations (for example, if a restaurant refuses to serve you because of your race).

If you believe that your civil rights have been violated by discriminatory actions, you should consult with a discrimination law attorney.

At G Todd Withy, Attorney At Law, our discrimination law attorneys can provide you with the guidance you need to take appropriate legal measures. Sometimes, that means filing a discrimination charge with an administrative agency. In other cases, you may be able to file a discrimination lawsuit. If you prevail, you may be able to recover monetary damages. You may be entitled to other remedies as well, such as reinstatement if you were fired for discriminatory reasons, or a promotion that your employer denied you based on discriminatory grounds.

To learn more about your options, set up an initial consultation with our legal team. Remember, under the law, you are entitled to fair and equal treatment. If you believe that you’ve been the victim of discrimination, contact G Todd Withy, Attorney At Law today.
